Regional Advocacy Manager
Overview
The Regional Advocacy Manager coordinates and supports Rail Passengers’ network of
advocates in a defined geographic area, serving as the link between national leadership
and local advocates.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee a cohort of regional advocates (Routes Spokespersons, Certified
Advocates).
Provide coaching, resources, and policy updates to volunteers.
Ensure local advocacy aligns with national strategy.
Report regional progress and needs to the VP of Government Affairs.
Qualifications
Prior advocacy or organizing experience preferred.
Strong communication and mentoring skills.
Familiarity with passenger rail issues at the state and local level.
Time Commitment
~6–10 hours per month.
